Casa Solera is in Fuengirola's old town, a few steps from Plaza de la Constitución and the pedestrian streets around it. The area around Plaza Chinorros and Fish Alley, both about two minutes on foot, is where most people eat: grilled sardines and fresh seafood at the chiringuitos, tapas at the local bars, or Italian and Indian if you want something different. The beach is a short walk away. Fuengirola has 8 km of sand, with the Paseo Marítimo running the full length of the seafront. The municipal market, open daily, is nearby for fresh produce. The train station (Cercanías C1) is walkable from the apartment and connects directly to Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Málaga city centre (30 min) and Málaga Airport (45 min). The bus station next door runs regular services to Mijas Pueblo, Marbella and the rest of the coast. Worth knowing: the Tuesday outdoor market at the Recinto Ferial is the largest on the Costa del Sol. Sohail Castle, a Moorish fort with good views over the coast, is at the western end of the beach. The whole place is yours, with your own street door. A local agent meets you at the property with the keys at the agreed time. There is a small service patio at the back housing the air conditioning units. It is not a terrace and guests do not use it.

The apartment is on a pedestrian street in the centre of Fuengirola, so everything is walkable. The beach is 6 minutes on foot. Shops, restaurants and the main square are 2 minutes away. The train station (Cercanías C1) is a 10-minute walk and connects to Málaga city centre in 30 minutes and the airport in 45 minutes. Buses to Mijas Pueblo and Marbella leave from the station next door. There is no parking at the property. The nearest car park is Parking Plaza de la Constitución, 3 minutes on foot.
